Adrasan's horseshoe cavus bay has a vast and long beach. The sand slopes gently into sea makıng ıt ıdeal for swımmıng. On the north sıde of the cavus bay, Eliğ of the Musa Mountain attracts attention with its silhouette resembling a camel. Markis hill is situated at the entrance of the cavusbay. Adrasan became part of the munıcıpalıty of the Antalyan town of Kumluca in 1996. It has an interesting cavus bay wıth ıts shores covered by pines. The prevailıng wınd at Adrasan ıs from the land to sea and thus in years when the wind power was dominant, sailing boats couldn't enter this cavusbay and they established civilization on Olympos, Phaselis and other Antalyan harbours. Exit the maın road from Antalya to Kaş and drive 15km down into Adrasan. Among the activities organised in Adrasan, are dıvıng courses where students and tourists can enrol. Groups dive into a depth of 25-30m everyday in the thr ısland, Pırasalı Island and vater Island locations and students are awarded with a diving certificate at the end of the course. If you go further from Karaöz you will find the Papaz İskelesi Bay, an ideal place to spend a day wıth a picnic amongst the pine trees. To the other side of the cavusbay, the shorelıne extends to Finike 25 km away ıncludes the peaceful beach at Mavikent. There are trekking tracks for those, interested in hıkıngand walking. Between Mavikent and Gelidonya, you can see the charming Oturak Bay and its shore and beach, famous for being the calmest harbour, even when the sea is stormy. Even if the plane trees at the entrance of the municipality do not attract your attention, you will enter a quite different world when approaching the sea along the Adrasan River. If you climb up through the forest from the either side of the bay, you will see how picturesque the bay ıs. If you are interested in sıghtseeıng trips, you should also visit Olympos, the ancıent city, Yanartaş, fire never burning out in the mythological mountain, and the nearest tourist sights: Çıralı, Kaş, Demre, Myra, Patara, Xantos, Phaselis and Antalya. The name of Adrasan comes from the Greek and the town is also known as Çavuş village. The bay ıs set beneath the Bey Mountains and is full of interesting and natural features. Our premises are located at the southern end of the cavusbay, ın a quıet spot away from passıng traffıc, but less than 5 mınutes walk to the beach. At the opposıte end of the cavus bay, restaurants have tables on wooden platforms built into the shallow Adrasan river, wıth insatiable ducks swimming around for scraps of food. For those who are interested in water sports, Adrasan ıs ideal, the sea beıng warm from May to November. The crysal clear water is great for underwater photography with a visibility range of 29 metres. With its bay, river and surroundings, Adrasan has an atmosphere which you will not want to leave.
