Adrasan's closed bay has a long and extensive beach, gently sloping into the sea, making access for swimming very easy. Opposite the bay, Eliğ of the Musa Mountain attracts attention with its silhouette resembling a camel and Markis hill is situated at the entrance of the bay.

The village, 22kms from the Antalya-Kaş highway, is committed to the region’s main town, Kumluca and it became a municipality in 1996. It has an interesting bay surrounded by pine clad mountains and with the prevailing winds being from land to sea, it was difficult for ancient sailing ships to enter against this force. This lead to communites being founded in Olympos, Phaselis and other Antalya harbours.

Among the activities organised in Adrasan are diving courses (groups dive up to depths of 25-30m everyday in the Üçadalar, Pırasalı Island and Sulu Island locations) and students are awarded with a diving certificate at the end of the course.

If you go further from Karaöz you will find the Papaz İskelesi Bay, acting as a cool  picnic area, surrounded as it is, with pine trees. On the other side, the beach has a shoreline starting in Mavikent that reaches Finike, with a length of 25 km, the largest shoreline of Antalya with , growing popularity.

The hotels and pensions are located on the right side of the bay, this is also the point where the second street joins. There are trekking tracks for those interested in the environment and walking.

Between Mavikent and Gelidonya, you can see the charming Oturak Bay with it’s shore and beach, famous for being the calmest harbour, even when the sea is stormy.

Even if the plane tree at the entrance of the municipality does not attract your attention, you will enter a quite different world whilst drawing close to the sea, parallel to the Adrasan River on your left. If the ones who set off in the morning reach the town after it gets dark, this is even more atmospheric. If you climb up through the forest from the either side of the bay, you will see how pretty the bay is.

For those interested in catching their own dinner, it is possible to organise small fishing trips around the area, what could be better than your own freshly caught fish, grilled to perfection.

If you are interested in environmental trips, you should also visit Olympos, the antique city, Yanartas, (Fire Mountain) with perpetual flames burning on it*s slopes and the nearest tourist sights: Çirali, Kas, Demre, Myra, Patara, Xantos, Phaselis and Antalya.

The name of Adrasan comes from Greek and the town is also known as Çavus village. The bay*s soil is sandy and its sea is shallow, with a gently sloping beach with no main road and only the occasional car. It is full of interesting and natural excellences.

For those who are interested in water sports, this place is can also offer a varied programme.The temperature of the sea is high and, with a long season, it is ideal for  underwater photography, with a clear underwater visibility range of 29 meters.

With its bay, river and surrounding attractions, Adrasan has an atmosphere which you will not want to leave. It*s the right place for a real, restful vacation. While Antalya is crowded, hot and hectic, you will find peace and tranquillity here, only a 100 km distance from the airport.
